What is Change Control Board (CCB)?
The Change Control Board is the group with the authority to approve, defer, or reject change requests — typically sponsors and key stakeholders operating under the rules in the change management plan. The project manager usually presents the impact analysis; the board decides.
Exam pattern: when a stakeholder demands a change mid-scenario, the answer is almost never "just do it" or "refuse." It's assess the impact, then route the request through the CCB. Governance is the correct reflex.
