Use this PM Simulator to Pass!
I prepared for the PMP by studying, doing case studies, and taking LOTS and LOTS of tests. The method of taking tests over and over is tedious, but it prepares you. When you get into the exam, you can only take one minute or so per question, so you have to be ready. The team at PM Learning were great, if I had any questions, I received very timely assistance.

The method that got me AT, AT, T
I went through the PMBOK and Agile Practice Guide once each, then used PMLearning to actually prepare for the exam. My approach was to start with the mini exams -- 25 to 50 questions per task. First attempts I was sitting around 60-68% and honestly felt stuck for a while. But I didn't skip past the misses. After every single test I went back, read every explanation for what I got wrong, took notes, then retook it until I was hitting 90-95%. Went through all the tasks that way, around 900 questions total. The week before the exam I did all 5 full-length tests, one a day, reviewed everything I missed. Walked into the test feeling ready. Came out with AT, AT, and T across the three domains. The explanations in PMLearning are what made the difference -- not just the questions themselves. Really grateful for this tool.

Simulator saved me after the boot camp didn't
I took a boot camp to prepare for my PMP but honestly the PMlearning exam simulator is what actually got me ready. The boot camp gave me the theory but PMlearning is where the real prep happened. The actual exam was brutal -- almost all scenario-based questions, a lot of Earned Value, drag and drop questions, hotspot items, and a ton of change request scenarios. Nothing straightforward. But because I had drilled so many questions here and read every explanation carefully, I knew how to think through each one. Passed above target across every domain. Money well spent.

Best simulator I used
My strategy with PMLearning was a little different from most. I started by working through the mini topic exams for each task in the PMI Exam Content Outline which really helped me build a solid foundation before jumping into full length tests. I reviewed every mistake carefully and made sure I understood the reasoning before moving on. After that I only had time to complete 3 of the 7 full length exams and honestly that was enough. Passed my PMP on the first attempt. The way the content is broken down by task and domain makes it easy to study smart not just study hard.
